I use a budgeted version of the glidecam known as the autopilot stabilizer in order to get some of smooth slider shots. I didn't need to excessively spend thousands on things like kessler gear, though it would have been nice to have. My filmmaking journey kicked off mainly thanks to film riot and ryan connolly where I learned how to become a filmmaker. From them I discovered people like Philip Bloom who further inspired me. I hope to one day be able to afford canon c100's and black magic ursa cameras but for now I do what I can with what I have. Some other people that really inspire me are Casey Neistat and freddiew. Freddiew and rocketjump have really pushed me to learn adobe after effects and premier pro and muzzle flashes and guns and action effects. Video copilot also really helped me with this with all their affordable filmmaking tools like jet strike, element 3d, action essentials, and other things. Thanks to all these people I am now decent at DSLR filmmaking. I edited this short in Premier Pro using dynamic link to do effects in After Effects. I did not need to do a lot of compositing with layers for these visual effects, just some basic rotoscoping. I color graded with lumetri as I did not have anything like Da Vinci resolve or red giant magic bullet looks.
